Telemetry Coils are used for communication between the implant and the external patient monitoring devices and programmers used by the doctor or the patient. These coils are designed to produce optimum transmission in Medical Implant Communication Systems (MICS). They can also be wound in various shapes and sizes, terminated, housed or encapsulated.
