Inductive Charging Coils are used to reduce the size of the implants and extend the time before surgical replacement by allowing the implant batteries to be recharged by the patient. Rechargeable batteries are smaller in size and can deliver continuous therapy without reducing the usable life of the implant. These coils are wound using perfect layer winding techniques to provide ideal power transfer. These coils can be fitted and terminated to a carrier to ease handling and termination. They can also be encapsulated to protect against body fluids.
