Telemetry Coils are used for communication between the implant and the external patient monitoring devices or programmers used by the doctor or the patient. These coils are wound using perfect layer winding techniques to produce optimum transmission in Medical Implant Communication Systems (MICS). They are also wound in various shapes to conform to the shape and the size of the implant.
