Trident II Missile
Datatronics has been honored by the U.S. Navy with the Trident II FBM Program flag for its custom transformers. The Trident II (D5) Ballistic Missile is launched from the US Navy’s Ohio-class submarines. It is a three-stage, solid-propellant, inertially guided missile with a 4,000+ nautical mile range. Trident II (D5) was first deployed in 1990 and is planned to be deployed past 2020.

OMNI-V Gen III Night Vision Goggles
Custom transformers from Datatronics support the U.S. Army’s Night Vision Goggle program OMNI-V Gen III devices. Night vision systems allow our troops to see in near total darkness conditions with high resolution. They also adjust rapidly to changes in lighting conditions under a variety of field conditions.

Pluto New Horizons
Custom transformers from Datatronics support data communications with the Pluto New Horizons Satellite. In 2006, NASA dispatched an ambassador to the planetary frontier: The New Horizons spacecraft, now more than halfway between Earth and Pluto, is on approach for a dramatic flight past the icy dwarf planet and its moons in July 2015.
